The official Second Life promotional video featuring Cain Evergarden and Paradiso is now live.
I have so many people to thank for helping make this possible.
I wrote a special thank-you message for everyone who helped create Hyakki Yakou 2026.
Sabina
Thank you so much, Sabina.
Thank you for filming Hyakki Yakou and for creating the promotional video for Second Life.
I’m truly happy and honored that you chose to feature my world and Paradiso in the video. Seeing Cain Evergarden and Paradiso appear in an official Second Life promotion was an incredibly special moment for me.
I’ve been creating and building worlds in Second Life for many years, so seeing something I’ve worked on for so long reach this kind of stage really means a lot to me.
Thank you for giving me such a wonderful and unforgettable opportunity. 🖤
I’m really grateful for all your work and support.

ROKU
Roku, thank you.
Thank you for being my manager during Hyakki Yakou and for supporting me throughout the event.
But more than that, thank you for always being there for me as my partner in Second Life.
There are so many things I could thank you for, but honestly, the biggest reason I’m grateful is simply because you are here.
Your presence itself means so much to me.
I’m really glad that you’re part of my Second Life journey, and I’m grateful for all the time we’ve shared together.
Thank you for everything. I love you. 🖤

TOORU
Tooru, thank you so much for everything.
Thank you for helping make the Nagaya project such a lively and wonderful part of Hyakki Yakou.
You posted about it on X every single day, and that meant so much to me. You helped bring attention to the project and kept the excitement alive throughout the event.
Thank you also for coming to the building site and making me laugh and feel relaxed while I was working. Those little moments meant more to me than you probably realize.
You worked so hard as a staff member, and I’m truly grateful for everything you did for Hyakki Yakou.
But most importantly, thank you for caring about me as a person. You noticed when I was struggling, listened to me, and gave me a place to talk when I needed it.
I’m really grateful that you were there for me, both as a staff member and as a friend.
Thank you, Tooru. 🖤

Zen
Zen, thank you so much for everything.
Thank you for supporting Hyakki Yakou as a staff member, and for all the time and effort you put into the event.
You also created the backstory and lore for Hyakki Yakou, giving the world its own history and depth. The world we built was not just a collection of buildings and decorations — your words helped give it a soul.
Thank you also for being there for me when I needed someone to talk to. You and Tooru listened to me and supported me when things were difficult, and I’ll never forget that.
During the DJ events, you brought so much energy and excitement and helped make the nights truly special.
And thank you for taking such beautiful photos for the product promotions and sharing them with everyone. You made my creations look even more wonderful.
I’m truly grateful for everything you did for Hyakki Yakou, both behind the scenes and in front of everyone.
Thank you for helping bring this world to life, and for being there for me along the way.
Thank you, Zen. 🖤

Kirke
Kirke, thank you so much.
I want to give you my deepest thanks for everything you did for Hyakki Yakou.
You were the one who came up with the idea for the parade, and honestly, I can say that the Hyakki Yakou we have today would not exist without you.
Even while you were busy with your own things, you took the time to create the choreography for the dancers and worked so hard to make the parade happen.
And on the day of the parade itself, you gave it your all and helped make it such a special and unforgettable moment.
I’m truly grateful for everything you gave to Hyakki Yakou.
Thank you for believing in this event and for helping it become what it is today.
I will always be grateful that you were part of this journey.
Thank you, Kirke. 🖤

Yazoo
Yazoo, thank you so much for your incredible support of Hyakki Yakou.
Thank you for generously lending HAKONIWA SIM to us free of charge and giving us the space to bring Hyakki Yakou to life.
Without your kindness and support, this event would not have been possible in the way it was.
You gave us a place where we could build, create, gather, dance, and share this world with so many people.
I’m truly grateful for your generosity and for believing in us enough to give us this opportunity.
Thank you for giving Hyakki Yakou a place to exist.
I will never forget your kindness.
Thank you, Yazoo. 🖤

Rungray
Rungray, thank you so much for everything you did for Hyakki Yakou.
Thank you for creating the incredible stage for our DJ event — the legendary “Yokai Tomorrowland” 😂
But you did so much more than that. You handled the VJ and PA during the event, helping everything run smoothly and making the whole night come alive.
You even created a special gift for the event, which was such a wonderful surprise and another thing I’m incredibly grateful for.
The success of the Hyakki Yakou DJ event would not have been possible without you.
Your creativity, technical skills, and dedication made the event something truly special.
Thank you for putting so much of yourself into Hyakki Yakou and for helping us create such an unforgettable night.
I’m truly grateful for everything, Rungray. 🖤

To Rio, Ryo, and Macoto — thank you so much.
Thank you for choosing to live in the Nagaya during Hyakki Yakou.
The Nagaya was created as a place where people could live, gather, and become part of the world, and seeing you actually make it your home made the whole project feel truly alive.
Your presence brought warmth and life to the streets of Hyakki Yakou.
Thank you for becoming part of the world I created and for helping make the Nagaya more than just a collection of buildings.
Because you were there, it felt like a real neighborhood.
I’m truly grateful to all three of you. 🖤
Thank you for being part of Hyakki Yakou 2026.
----------------------------
And finally, to everyone who was part of Hyakki Yakou — thank you.
To all the bloggers who shared Hyakki Yakou and introduced our creations to the Second Life community, thank you for helping our world reach so many people.
To all the merchants and creators who joined us as exhibitors, thank you for bringing your wonderful creations and making Hyakki Yakou a place full of things to discover.
To all the DJs who performed and filled the event with music, thank you for giving us unforgettable nights.
To all the Dance Masters who helped organize and lead the dances, thank you for bringing so much energy and life to the event.
And to everyone who visited Hyakki Yakou, explored the streets, enjoyed the events, took photos, danced, shopped, talked with friends, or simply spent some time there — thank you for coming.
An event is not truly alive because of the buildings or the decorations. It comes alive because people gather there and create memories together.
Hyakki Yakou became a real world because all of you were there.
I’m deeply grateful to every single person who took part in this journey.
Thank you for making Hyakki Yakou what it became. 🖤
-------------------------
And finally, thank you, Second Life.
This world has given me so many encounters, memories, friendships, and opportunities to create.
Because Second Life exists, I was able to build my own worlds, meet incredible people, and create something like Hyakki Yakou together with so many wonderful people.
After all these years, I found myself remembering why I loved creating worlds in the first place.
Thank you for giving me a place where imagination can become reality.
And thank you for being part of my journey for all these years.
Here’s to the worlds we’ve created, the people we’ve met, and all the stories still waiting to be told.
